Starlight Sales Update
Starlight Racing has been active at the annual yearling sales and we are excited to have added some promising horses to the roster. We have teamed with SF Bloodstock again this year and bloodstock agents Frank Brothers, Donato Lanni and Henry Field have worked together to select some rising stars–fingers crossed, of course!
Their work is not done, however, as they will also be active at the upcoming Fasig Tipton October yearlings sale looking for the next best thing.
StarLadies Sales Update
StarLadies Racing was also active at the yearling sales adding 3 new fillies to the fold. Out of the Fasig Tipton July sale we purchased a Malibu Moon–Lady Lioness filly and a Tonalist–Sophie Sophie filly. From FT Saratoga Select we acquired the Flatter–Bodee Beautiful filly (pictured to the right).
Our StarLadies Racing partnership is now closed for 2019 but inquiries about 2020 are always welcome!
Racing News
Eight Rings (owned in partnership: SF Racing, Starlight Racing, Madaket Stables, Fred Hertrich, John D. Fielding and Golconda Stables) won the G1 American Pharoah stakes in impressive fashion on Sept. 27 at Santa Anita. Next stop: the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile!
Mo Hawk was an impressive 3 length winner in his debut at Los Alamitos. Trainer Bob Baffert has not yet decided on when/where his next start will be.
After a 3 for 3 auspicious start to his career, Improbable has had some ups and downs since. He won the Shared Belief Stakes in August but in his last out (G1 PA Derby) he had trouble at the start and finished a troubled 4th. His next start is yet to be decided.

We will not be solidifying our 2020 partnerships until August 2020 but it’s never too early to inquire.
