Starlight Racing, StarLadies Racing
Elinor Wolf, from Louisville, Kentucky, brings a broad range of international experience to Starlight and StarLadies Racing.
A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, she walked on to the Division I lacrosse team and was voted captain in her senior year. Elinor earned her degree in Strategic Communications with an emphasis in Advertising in 2020.
Her passion for the equine industry led her to complete the Irish National Stud Course in 2021. Based in Kildare, Ireland, this renowned program offers hands-on experience and education in all aspects of thoroughbred breeding and management. It’s considered a premier pathway for those looking to build a career in the global racing and breeding industry.
Following this, Elinor was selected for the prestigious Godolphin Flying Start program, where she graduated with distinction. The two-year program is an elite leadership and management course that offers participants global exposure to the horse racing industry through placements in key racing hubs such as Ireland, the UK, the USA, Australia, and Dubai. Graduates gain valuable insights and experience across all aspects of racing and breeding, preparing them for leadership roles in the sport.
After the Godolphin Flying Start, Elinor was hired by Thoroughbred Country as Marketing Manager, and after six months, she was in charge of the company while their CEO was on maternity leave, further enhancing her industry knowledge.
Now, as the Director of Marketing, Partner Relations, and Recruiting for Starlight and StarLadies Racing, Elinor is excited to bring her diverse experiences back to the family business. “I am so excited to bring my experiences back to the family business and carry on the success and legacy that Starlight and StarLadies has achieved,” she says.
In her role at Starlight and StarLadies Racing, Elinor is dedicated to leveraging her education and experiences to strengthen the marketing strategies and cultivate partner relationships. With a deep commitment to the thoroughbred industry and a passion for innovation, she aims to honor the legacy of her family business while navigating the future of horse racing.
